Carolyn has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southern Connecticut State University. Prior to joining CESAMH’s Administration and Operations Unit in 2012, Carolyn was a Research Associate (2008-2010) and later a Research Studies Manager (2010-2012) at the Laboratory of Biological Dynamics and Theoretical Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. There, she coordinated research studies that investigated the use of neuroimaging techniques, such as fMRI, to better understand mental disorders and substance use disorders among both Veterans and non-Veterans.
